Hi. I’m Rich, owner of this here establishment and publisher, writer, and chief bottlewasher of Modern Acoustic magazine. What started as a lark – designing a cover for a non-existent magazine – has turned into a full-fledged publication, website, blog and more.

OK, now a little personal background: I am an editor in the Living/Arts department at a major metropolitan daily newspaper in Boston and have been in the biz for almost 30 years. I live north of the city – yes, in the suburbs – and spend a lot of time listening to and reading about music.

I have a wonderful wife and two wonderful kids and a wonderful little dog. What else could one ask for.
